I've been exploring the structure of light by creating light installations as well as visuals. If we focus on the essential fact, we just capture the light essentially when we see anything.
And then, calculate everything by brain and past experiences for understanding what we see now.
In this work the "density compression", I only use pure behavior(straightness/reflective) of light as components of visuals. The behavior is executed in limited space(Box, Sphere).
I treat and capture the light as dense/crowded lines which fill the space in this work. Originally the light can't stop completely but I wanted to visualize fragmentary behavior of light. I thought that if the light is treated physically like the shape changes when a soft object is compressed/pressed, the result of the behavior of the light itself can be changed.
